Uzbek boxers finished the international tournament with 18 medals

The "Stranja" international boxing tournament, hosted by Sofia, Bulgaria, has ended. In the program of 26 February, 10 representatives of Uzbekistan entered the ring in the final match.

Uzbek boxers Shadiyorjon Melikoziyev, Hasanboy Dosmatov, Mujibillo Tursunov, Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev, and Saidjamshid Jafarov won the tournament in decisive fights. As the opponents of Bahadir Jalolov and Shahjakhan Abdullayev refused to compete, both boxers were automatically declared the winners of the tournament.

Among the men, Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov, Adhamjon Muhiddinov, Ruslan Abdullayev, and Bekzod Hamidov lost their chance in the final and settled for the silver medal of the competition. Among the women, Saidakhan Rahmonova won 2nd place in the tournament.

The representatives of Uzbekistan took first place with 7 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
