Between 19-26 February, the traditional 74th international tournament “Stranja”, which is very prestigious in the world of boxing, was held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Uzbek boxer Bahadir Jalolov, who participated in +92 kg weight, won one fight in the competition.  At various stages, the opponents of the Uzbek boxer did not want to enter the ring against him.

So, why did Bahadir Jalolov’s opponents refuse to fight?

The boxer told Qalampir.uz why the opponents in “Stranja” “ran away” from the fight.

“Everyone has their own plan.  I don’t know why my opponents refused to fight.  Maybe they were afraid of getting hurt.  I am ready to fight no matter what happens,” says Jalolov.

It should be noted that the representatives of Uzbekistan won a total of 18 medals at the “Stranja” tournament.  Pupils of Tolqin Qilichev took first place in the overall team score.
