It was revealed why Konkabayev did not enter the ring against Jalolov

Today, the traditional international boxing tournament “Stranja” continues in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.  Kamshibek Konkabayev from Kazakhstan was supposed to fight against Bahadir Jalolov from Uzbekistan in the program on the 22 February, however, the boxer from Kazakhstan did not participate in the fight for an unknown reason.

Consequently, Konkabayev refused to participate in the battle due to an injury to his hand.  Also, Kamshibek had very little time to prepare for the battle against Jalolov and to fully engage in the process.

“Kamshibek should recover and think about his health first, because the main tournaments are ahead – the World Championship in Tashkent and the Asian Games in Hangzhou,” said the press service of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.

It should be recalled that Bahadir Jalolov continues his winning streak in the “Stranja” tournament.  In the semi-finals of the competition, Jalolov will fight against Muhammad Abdullayev from Azerbaijan.
