It is revealed that about 500 persons committed violence against minors in 2022

In 2022, 469 people were sentenced for sexual violence against minors in Uzbekistan.  The press service under the Supreme Court gave information to QALAMPIR.UZ about this.

It is noted that 23 persons raped children under 14 years of age.  99 persons were prosecuted for committing violent crimes knowing that the children they committed violence against were under 14 years of age.

In addition, 249 persons were punished for having sex with a person under the age of 16.

7 persons were held responsible for having sexual relations with a person between the ages of sixteen and eighteen years by giving material values or obtaining property interests.

In addition, 91 persons were punished for committing indecent acts against a person under the age of sixteen.
