Starting June 1 of this year, several legislative changes will take effect in Uzbekistan. These changes are outlined below:
- Citizens embarking on labor migration will receive compensation for travel tickets.
- Residents will receive monthly updates on their gas and electricity usage.
- Employers who hire individuals returning from labor migration will be eligible for subsidies.
- Payment amounts for child support in state pre-school education organizations will be established.
- Individuals returning from labor migration and their family members will be entitled to a free medical examination.
- New regulations will mandate the design of certain structures with an automatic gas and electricity shut-off system to be activated during earthquakes.
- The provision of social services for victims of oppression and violence will be enhanced.
- A special portal offering information on green spaces, parks, and public areas will be launched.
- First aid rooms for victims of persecution and violence will be established.
