Uzbekistan’s mobile internet speed drops two places

Uzbekistan’s mobile internet speed has dropped two places, ranking 70th out of 103 countries. This is according to the Speedtest Global Index's February ranking.

In comparison to last month, Uzbekistan has dropped two positions, with its internet speed now evaluated at 49.89 Mbps.

In this ranking, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) secured the top spot, with mobile internet speeds surpassing 543.91 Mbps. Qatar (522.48 Mbps) and Kuwait (309.07 Mbps) took second and third positions, respectively.

Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 51st with a speed of 81.36 Mbps, while Kyrgyzstan ranked 75th with 47.02 Mbps. Tajikistan was not mentioned in the ranking.

The Speedtest Global Index, published by Ookla, monitors internet speeds worldwide every month. The rankings are based on factors such as network infrastructure, the performance of internet providers, and user experience.
