As you know, the case of Bakhtiyor Zafarovich Qudratullayev, better known as "Bakhti Tashkentsky" in criminal circles, is being considered in the Yunusobod District Court. The court entered the deliberation room to deliver the verdict. Lawyer Abdumalik Abdullayev provided this information.

According to the lawyer, the court is expected to leave the consultation room on July 19, 2024, at 10:00 am.

It is known that "Bakhti Tashkentsky" was captured in November 2023 during the "Urgent 40 days" events held in Uzbekistan. Initially, he was charged under Article 165, part 3 of the Criminal Code for extortion of a large amount and Article 276, part 2 for possession of large quantities of narcotic drugs. During the investigation, which lasted more than five months, Qudratullayev was also charged with other crimes, including Article 242 of the Criminal Code (Criminal Organization).

At the end of the investigation, the case of Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev and 36 individuals, said to be his accomplices, was sent to the Yunusobod District Court for Criminal Affairs. Bakhti Tashkentsky's two sons and brother are among those on trial.

Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev stated that he did not confess to the charges brought against him during the court session that started on June 3 of this year.

The public prosecutor asked the court to impose different years of imprisonment depending on the conviction of each defendant.

The prosecutor, taking into account the court's confirmation of the charges against Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev, the absence of mitigating circumstances, and all other factors, requested a sentence based on multiple articles of the Criminal Code. These include Article 242 (Organization of a criminal organization), Article 165 (Extortion), Article 168 (Fraud), Article 104 (Deliberate grievous bodily harm), Article 109 (Intentional minor bodily harm), and Article 276 (Illegal preparation, possession, storage, and other actions without the intention of transferring narcotic drugs, their analogs, or psychotropic substances). According to Article 59 of the Criminal Code, he requested a 20-year imprisonment for multiple crimes and, using Article 34 of the Criminal Code, classified "Bakhti Tashkentsky" as an extremely dangerous recidivist to serve the sentence in a special-order colony.

Additionally, the state prosecutor asked the court to impose compulsory drug treatment on Qudratullayev, applying Article 96 of the Criminal Code (application of coercive medical measures along with punishment).

As mentioned earlier, those being tried alongside Qudratullayev include his two sons and his brother.

Bekzod Qudratullayevich Zafarov, the eldest son of Qudratullayev, was arrested on charges under Article 165 (Extortion), Part 3, Clause "v" and Article 168 (Fraud), Part 4, Clause "v" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The state prosecutor asked the court to sentence Bekzod Qudratullayev to 11 years in prison.

Qudratullayev's youngest son, 27-year-old Ikhtiyor Qudratullayev, was accused under Article 165 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code, part 3, clauses "a" and "v". According to the public prosecutor, Ikhtiyor Gudratullaev was involved in one episode, and the accusation was confirmed.

“Ikhtiyor Qudratullayev was found guilty of the crimes specified in Article 165 (Extortion), Part 3, Paragraphs "a" and "v". Considering his clean criminal record, the severity of his crime, and his involvement in other offenses, he has been sentenced to 12 years in prison without applying articles 57 (Lesser punishment) and 72 (Conditional sentencing) of the Criminal Code. He will serve his sentence in a general-regime colony," stated the public prosecutor.

The prosecutor asked the court to sentence Shuhrat Zafarovich Qudratullayev, the brother of "Bakhti Tashkentsky," accused of extortion, to 11 years of imprisonment.

According to the public prosecutor, the charge of extortion against Shuhrat Qudratullayev under Article 165 of the Criminal Code was confirmed. Considering that the defendant was released on parole in 2017 and has an unexpired sentence, the prosecutor requested he be classified as a very dangerous recidivist under Article 34 of the Criminal Code (Recidivism) and sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.
