Drunken quarrel in Fergana ends in murder

A man in the Fergana region stabbed his acquaintance, a fellow villager, to death several times. The Fergana regional courts reported this incident.

According to information, the man, who was born in the Andijan region, had been convicted several times before. He went to a funeral at his neighbor's house. When his acquaintance asked him, he said that he was temporarily unemployed. The neighbor told him that he was engaged in baking in Fergana and offered to work with him. Thus, the two neighbors were engaged in baking in Fergana.

Later, they drank alcohol and quarreled. As a result, the man, who had a previous conviction, stabbed his neighbor several times in the left chest and various parts of his body with a kitchen knife.

The man stated in court that he defended himself with a knife that was lying nearby because his acquaintance had hit him on the wrist with a hammer during a fight. This criminal case was considered in the Fergana City Court.

The court sentenced the man to 11 years and 6 months in prison under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Intentional murder).

We would like to remind you that earlier in Kashkadarya, a man had beaten his sister's drunken husband to death. The defendant was found guilty under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder with extreme cruelty) and sentenced to 15 years and 6 months in prison.
