During large-scale "Oriat" operations conducted by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs on February 8-9, individuals involved in drug trafficking, including those running a drug den and selling narcotics in a nightclub, were detained. This was reported by the State Security Service.
In the Khorezm region, a nightclub manager born in 2004 was caught selling drugs to customers in the Yangibazar district. During the raid, authorities seized drugs, two bats, two knives, and a taser as material evidence.
Meanwhile, in Tashkent, a 1986-born individual, along with two accomplices, was found injecting synthetic drugs and had turned a house in the Yunusabad district into a drug den. A search revealed synthetic drugs wrapped in a black bag, which was confiscated.
It should be noted that earlier, during a joint operation by the State Security Service's Border Troops and the Customs Committee, 612 kilograms of hashish were discovered hidden inside broom handles intended for smuggling into Uzbekistan.
