Bus hits pedestrian in Tashkent

A King Long bus driver hit a pedestrian in Tashkent yesterday, June 21. Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC reported this.

The incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on Shota Rustaveli Street in Yakkasaray district.

According to the report, the bus, driven by Z.D., was heading toward the Southern Railway Station when it hit a pedestrian born in 2000 who was running across a pedestrian crossing at a red traffic light.

The bus driver immediately stopped the vehicle and took the injured person by ambulance to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care No. 16.

The traffic accident was documented in accordance with the established procedure by responsible officers of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs.

Earlier, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl had died in a traffic accident caused by a minor driving a Malibu-2 car in Kokand, Fergana region.
