Since President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s first open dialogue with entrepreneurs on August 20, 2021, nearly a thousand of their initiatives have been incorporated into legislation. This was announced today, August 20, during the President’s open dialogue with entrepreneurs.
The Head of State emphasized the symbolic significance of holding this meeting in New Tashkent, where large-scale construction works have begun.
"This megaproject will serve as clear evidence of how our reforms are being realized in life and as a vivid symbol of our bold steps on the path of renewal and progress.
For you, entrepreneurs, New Tashkent will become a space of new opportunities, new ideas, and new markets and a hub of innovation and investment.
The most modern infrastructure here, based entirely on green technologies, will serve your fresh ideas and initiatives.
Let it be known that the gates of New Tashkent will always remain open for all entrepreneurs who aspire to do business", the President said
It was reported that in preparation for today’s open dialogue, separate meetings were held with nearly 7,000 representatives from 26 sectors. Through the call center, more than 13,000 appeals and proposals were also received. Taking into account the importance of every day in the current challenging conditions, solutions were provided to the accumulated problems in fruit and vegetable exports and in the textile industry without waiting for the open dialogue.
It was also noted that last week, major new measures were announced to further encourage entrepreneurs and create more favorable conditions for bringing businesses out of the shadow economy. In particular, a special legal regime has been introduced until 2030 for individual entrepreneurs and the self-employed, aimed at supporting those who start with small projects, gain experience and skills in business, and help them grow into owners of strong enterprises employing 50 to 100 people.
From now on, digital platforms will be created to provide all services for such entrepreneurs from registration to the submission of reports. Through these platforms, entrepreneurs will be able to sign necessary documents remotely using biometric identification and SMS notifications without the need for an electronic key. In addition, the possibility will be introduced to pay employees daily or hourly wages through electronic wallets.
