President of Slovakia concludes his visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Slovak President Peter Pellegrini concluded his official visit to Uzbekistan, which began on October 29. The news was reported by UzA.

Prime Minister’s First Deputy Achilbay Ramatov and other officials saw off the Slovak leader at the Samarkand International Airport.

According to the visit program in Samarkand, on October 30, Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Peter Pellegrini held talks to discuss key aspects of strengthening strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

President Pellegrini also attended the opening ceremony of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference as an honored guest. On October 31, he took part in the plenary session of the conference and delivered a speech.

During his stay, the Slovak leader visited Samarkand’s historical and cultural landmarks and enjoyed a concert featuring creative groups from Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

It is worth noting that during an interview with QALAMPIR.UZ on October 31, at the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Peter Pellegrini said that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev would pay a visit to Slovakia.
