Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds phone call with Sadyr Japarov

On February 10, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the presidential press service reported.
During the call, the leaders discussed further strengthening the friendship, good-neighborly relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
They welcomed the steady growth in trade turnover. Industrial cooperation projects are being implemented, and joint work continues on major infrastructure initiatives, including the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway and the construction of the Kambarata hydropower plant.
The presidents also exchanged views on pressing regional issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
