Former Uzbekistan national team forward Sardor Rashidov is set to continue his professional football career with Dubai City FC in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by a QALAMPIR.UZ source.
According to the source, the 34-year-old right winger will sign a one-year contract with the UAE club. An official announcement from the club is expected soon.
For reference, Rashidov has been a free agent since parting ways with Namangan-based club Navbahor in February of this year. Notably, he previously played for Dubai City FC before joining Navbahor.
Throughout his career, Rashidov earned 50 caps for the Uzbekistan national team, scoring 13 goals. According to "Transfermarkt", the player's current market value is estimated at €75,000.
