Uzbek national team striker Huseyn Norchayev is on the verge of continuing his career in the Portuguese Championship. In an interview with QALAMPIR.UZ, Sardor Rashidov, a well-known Uzbek footballer who has played in Portugal, shared his thoughts on Norchayev’s potential move to Braga.
"Of course, Huseyn has great potential, and Uzbek players have shown they can excel in any championship. The Portuguese Championship can be a solid springboard for Norchayev. I wish him the best of luck, and I hope he scores a hat-trick, just like I did," Rashidov said.
For context, the 33-year-old Rashidov played for the Portuguese club "Nacional" in 2019. During his time there, he made 7 appearances, scoring a hat-trick in one of those matches.
It’s worth noting that Norchayev is currently awaiting the approval of his Portuguese visa
