Individual who struck an acquaintance on the head with an ax was apprehended in Samarkand

In the Samarkand region, a man assaulted his acquaintance with an ax. Jahongir Sagdullayev, the press secretary of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, reported this incident.
On July 8, S. Sh. sought medical attention for a severe injury. It was discovered that S. Sh. had a dispute with his acquaintance, Q. R., which escalated. During the altercation, Q. R. struck S. Sh. on the back of the head with a farm ax stored in the trunk of a Tico car, causing significant injuries.
"A criminal case has been initiated by the investigation department of the Ishtikhon district under Article 104, Part 2, Clause 'l' of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural requirements," the report stated.
We recall that earlier in Tashkent, a man who killed a woman with an ax was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
