Woman arrested in Russia for falsely registering Uzbeks

A 63-year-old woman in the Russian city of Udomlya, Tver region, has been arrested and a criminal case opened against her for falsely registering migrants in her home, Komsomolskaya Pravda reported.

According to the police, the woman received money in exchange for falsely registering four Uzbek citizens at her residence. Investigations revealed that these individuals did not actually live in her home. Her actions have been classified as a crime under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which pertains to the false registration of foreign citizens.

"The woman faces a criminal penalty of up to five years in prison," the report stated.

It is also worth recalling that earlier, an Uzbek man was arrested in the Kirov district of St. Petersburg, Russia, for possessing 15 kilograms of hashish.
