It is said that electricity will be cut off in some districts of the capital

Today, July 31, houses in two neighborhoods of the capital Tashkent will be cut off from electricity.  This was reported by the information service of the Tashkent city branch of the “Regional Electric Networks” Joint Stock Company.

It is said that today it is necessary to modernize power supply cables and transformers that have been in use for a long time and thereby ensure the supply of high-quality and stable electricity to consumers, prevent emergency situations in power networks, and thoroughly prepare for the autumn-winter season.  On July 31st, electricity supply will be temporarily turned off at the following addresses.

• In Sergeli district: on some streets of “Eski Jaloir” MFY from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;
• In Yangihayat district: “Mash’al” (Ibrat) MFY on some streets from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“In turn, we inform you that the repair works in the above areas can be completed earlier than the scheduled time,” the message reads.

Also, the Tashkent city branch of JSC “Hududiy elektr zheti” apologized to the consumers living in these areas for the inconvenience caused due to the temporary interruptions in the electricity supply due to these repair works.
