Fire breaks out in clothing store in Khorezm

Today, December 14, a fire broke out in a clothing store in the Khorezm region, according to the regional Emergency Situations Department.

The fire was reported at 03:03, when the Fire Department received information about a blaze at a lightweight clothing store located on E. Gayazov Street in the Bogdor neighborhood of the Hazorasp district.

Thirteen fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene by 03:07. The fire was brought under control at 03:50 and fully extinguished by 05:00.

No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the material damage.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in the Pastdargam district of the Samarkand region, where a fire broke out in a kindergarten. The fire damaged the ceiling and roof of the preschool building. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported in that incident as well.
