A 17-year-old girl has died after jumping from the roof of a 16-storey building in the Kashkadarya region. The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to reports, the tragedy occurred on February 7 at 09:35. The girl, identified as Z.Sh., was a resident of the "Naqshab" residential complex in Karshi city. She took her own life by jumping from the roof of a high-rise building located on Mustakillik Street in the "Navo" residential complex.
The Karshi city prosecutor's office has launched a preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It is worth noting that in October 2024, a similar tragedy occurred in the Surkhandarya region, where a 17-year-old girl died after falling from the 8th floor of a building.
