Car explodes at gas station in Boysun

In the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region, a Nexia-2 car exploded while being filled with methane fuel, resulting in the death of one person. This was reported by the information service of the Boysun district administration.

The incident occurred on the morning of June 28, at approximately 7:15 a.m., when the Nexia-2 exploded during the refueling process.

As a result of the explosion, one citizen sustained serious injuries and died before reaching the hospital.

Videos circulating on social media show that the roof and rear of the Nexia-2 were destroyed by the blast, rendering the vehicle nearly unrecognizable.

An official investigation into the cause of the explosion is currently underway.

It should be recalled that earlier, a fire broke out at a propane gas filling station in the Olot district of the Bukhara region. Although no explosion occurred in that case, the fire partially damaged the gas filling units and liquefied hydrocarbon gas on the side of a vehicle.
