New academic year fees officially announced

According to the relevant statement from the meeting of the State Commission on Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, tuition and contract fees for undergraduate and master’s students of higher education institutions have been approved for the 2025/2026 academic year, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation reported.
The annual tuition fees for a single student at state higher education institutions, based on the standard contract, are as follows:


In accordance with the resolution of the State Commission, the deadline for newly admitted students recommended for enrollment in state higher education institutions on a tuition-contract basis to pay at least 25 percent of the tuition fee for the 2025/2026 academic year has been extended until October 30, 2025.
In addition, for applicants admitted to state higher education institutions through an interview, based on a recommendation and with at least five years of work experience in economic sectors, the tuition fee has been set at double the standard contract rate for the respective bachelor’s programs and forms of study established for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the relevant resolution of the State Commission on Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was announced that for the 2025/2026 academic year, applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher in the entrance exams but were not recommended for enrollment would be allowed to be admitted to bachelor’s programs under an additional quota, with differentiated tuition fees determined independently by the rector (or director).
Earlier, it was reported that additional admissions would be conducted for vacant places in bachelor’s programs for the 2025/2026 academic year, as per the resolution of the State Commission on Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
