A train collided with a truck in Jizzakh.

A road transport accident occurred on the railway in the Sharof Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region due to the truck driver disobeying traffic rules.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Today, 20 October at 00:25a.m., the "CHAKMAN" truck was travelling in the area of "U. Khatamov" neighborhood, Sharof Rashidov district, at 3550 km between Jizzakh-2 and Chamanzor railway stations.  The traffic accident occurred as a result of a locomotive belonging to JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yollari" running off the road.

A unit from the rescue squad of the Emergency Situations Department was sent to the scene immediately.  As a result of a traffic accident, the locomotive derailed and stopped moving.

Due to the accident, the driver of the truck was injured, he received the necessary medical assistance on the spot, and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Jizzakh branch.
