A photo of a citizen slaughtering a wolf in the Jizzakh region was circulated on social networks. The Ministry of Natural Resources commented on the situation.

The investigation revealed that this situation was reported by J.Z., a resident of Uchturgan village, Yangiabad district. This incident was found to have been committed two years ago.

In connection with the situation, an administrative report was issued to the city based on Article 90, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. A fine of 3 million soms was imposed on the offender.

"Also, the citizen was made aware about the state protection given to these animals." The report said.
