Criminal case was filed against an uncle who sexually abused his nephews

In the Tashkent region, a criminal case was initiated against the uncle who took custody of his two nieces and sexually assaulted them. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.

It is noted that a woman living in the Parkent district of Tashkent region applied to the Children's Ombudsman and asked for legal action to be taken against her uncle who, after the death of her parents, was taking care of her 2 sisters and was committing shameful acts against them.

Based on the request of the children's ombudsman, R.R., who committed sexual violence against girls in the city of Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. A criminal case was initiated against him, he was detained in procedural order and a preventive measure of imprisonment was applied to him.

As a result of the effective cooperation of the Children's Ombudsman with the Children's Ombudsman of Kazakhstan, minor I.A. and S.R. were given all the necessary social and psychological support in the Adaptation Center of the city of Almaty.

After completion of all investigative activities related to them within the framework of the criminal case, on August 24 of this year, the girls were returned to Uzbekistan and placed in the Tashkent city social-legal assistance center for minors.

"These days, the process of formalizing the documents regarding the appointment of the girls' sister A.A. as their guardian is underway. Also, the preliminary investigation against R.R. has now been completed, and the materials have been sent to the appropriate district court for criminal cases.
