"With Statement No. 1 dated July 1, 2023, from the State Commission on Coordination of Admission Processes to State Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the acceptance parameters for full-time Bachelor of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the academic year 2023/2024 have been approved and finalized. According to these parameters, a total of 23 places were allocated for the "International Relations" course (Uzbek group) at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, with 3 places allocated for the state scholarship and 20 places for tuition fees," the commission said.

It should be noted that the following entrants to the "International Relations" department (Uzbek group) at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy are granted a state scholarship:

According to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4375 dated June 28, 2019, these entrants are considered graduates of the Temurbeklar School.

Because they have a privilege in the form of additional points in the amount of 15 percent of their score, their scores exceed the maximum of 189 points," said the State Admission Commission.

The Prime Minister's press secretary, Bekzod Khidoyatov, informed the editors that at the request of Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, all the responsible members of the State Admission Commission have gathered at the Cabinet of Ministers to develop proposals for solving this issue.

QALAMPIR.UZ asked, "Will there be such problems in the future?" Majid Karimov, a member of the admission commission and chairman of the Knowledge and Qualification Assessment Agency, answered that work is underway to allocate quotas to the Temurbeklar School.

"A regular operating procedure is being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future. Apart from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, there is no such problem in HEIs. There were actually 6 people who scored the maximum points and were admitted to contract studies. We resolved the issue for a student from Karakalpakstan. The problem of the remaining 5 people will be resolved today or tomorrow," said Majid Karimov.
