16766The candidates for the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan were approved following a decree issued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 21.
The composition of the Cabinet of Ministers is as follows:

- Jamshid Anvarovich Kochkarov – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance
- Jamshid Abduhakimovich Khojaev – Deputy Prime Minister
- Zulayho Bakhriddinovna Mahkamova – Deputy Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Family and Women’s Committee
- Laziz Shavkatovich Qudratov – Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade
- Botir Erkinovich Zohidov – Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Employment
- Ibrahim Yolchievich Abdurahmanov – Minister of Agriculture
- Shavkat Rahimovich Khamroev – Minister of Water Management

At a session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, deputies approved all proposed ministers for their respective positions.
It should be noted that under Article 114 of the Constitution, the head of the government of the Republic of Karakalpakstan is also part of the Cabinet of Ministers by virtue of their position.
Yesterday, November 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev analyzed the government’s performance over the past five years, highlighted achievements, and nominated Abdulla Aripov as a candidate for Prime Minister. Following the review of his program and the government’s agenda, deputies approved Abdulla Aripov for the position of Prime Minister through a secret vote. President Mirziyoyev subsequently signed a decree appointing Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov as Prime Minister.
