Shukhrat Musojonovich Ibragimov has been appointed as the new Assistant to the Prime Minister and Head of the Prime Minister's Reception Office, according to a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister's Press Secretary, Bekzod Hidoyatov.
Previously, Shukhrat Ibragimov held the position of Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, where he also served as Head of Department. In 2021, he was awarded the "For Faithful Services" medal in recognition of his contributions to the country, marking the thirtieth anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
This appointment follows the recent dismissal of Sarvar Ganievich Ashurov, who had previously served as Assistant to the Prime Minister and Head of the Prime Minister's Reception Office. The reasons for Ashurov's dismissal were not disclosed.
