“Yuksalish” opposed the resumption of studies in schools in the anomalously cold weather

The decision to determine the exact start date of studies should be made in consultation, not only with the administration of educational institutions, but also with parents and pedagogical staff. This was mentioned in the reaction of Bobur Bekmurodov, chairman of the national movement "Yuksalish", and deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, regarding the restoration of educational processes in the regions of the country despite the abnormally cold conditions.

He called on all executive bodies to reconsider the issue of starting the study process next week, taking into account the conditions in the villages.

"We call on local state authorities and regional agencies responsible for educational processes to consider the issue of starting studies in preschool and school educational institutions from next week.

First of all, it becomes extremely difficult for students to reach the educational institution in conditions of extreme cold and rain.  It is necessary to take into account that children walk several kilometers to attend school in some villages," says Bekmurodov.

According to him, heating systems in preschool and school educational institutions have not been fully implemented in several regions.

We remind you that earlier it was announced that the educational processes will resume tomorrow, 11 January in the schools of the Andijan and Khorezm regions.  Also, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation announced that starting from 11 January, classes will gradually begin in higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums.

The center of hydrometeorological service says that the abnormally cold weather in the country will continue until the end of the week.
