President of the Council of Europe Charles Michel will visit Uzbekistan on 28 October this year. This was announced on his Twitter page.
In his tweet, he said that he would visit Uzbekistan on 28 October and was pleased to be meeting with President [Shavkat] Mirziyoev.
In addition, Charles Michel will be in Astana on 26-27 October at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The European politician will participate in the meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries.
«The European Union is ready to deepen relations with Central Asia and support regional cooperation, » says Michel.
