New Minister dismisses Internal Affairs officers in Kashkadarya

43586Several officials, including the heads of the Kokdala and Kitab district internal affairs departments, have been dismissed by order of Minister of Internal Affairs Aziz Toshpulatov in the Kashkadarya region. The regional Internal Affairs Department reported this decision.
The minister held a reporting meeting to review the results of a comprehensive inspection conducted in the Kashkadarya region. The meeting was attended by the Republican Working Group, responsible officials, and personnel from regional and district-level internal affairs bodies.
Discussions at the meeting focused on the criminogenic situation in the region, early crime prevention, public services, handling citizen appeals, ensuring public order and traffic safety, and maintaining executive and service discipline among officers.
A group of employees who demonstrated outstanding service and were recognized by the public and their colleagues received awards. At the same time, a legal assessment was given to sectoral services and regional internal affairs departments found to have serious shortcomings in their duties.
As a result, the Minister of Internal Affairs dismissed several officials, including:
- The deputy head of the spiritual and educational work and personnel supply service of the regional internal affairs department
- The deputy head of the regional road safety service for spiritual and educational work
- The head of the registration and examination department
- The heads of the internal affairs departments of Kokdala and Kitab districts
- The first deputy heads of the internal affairs departments of Koson and Kasbi districts
- The deputies for public security of the internal affairs departments of Mubarak district and Karshi city
Additionally, severe disciplinary measures were imposed on:
- The deputy head of the regional internal affairs department for public security
- The heads of the Investigation, Public Order, and Road Safety Search and Investigation departments
- The head of the Kasbi district internal affairs department and his deputy for spiritual and educational affairs
- The heads of the internal affairs departments of Karshi city, Koson, and Mubarak districts
It should be recalled that on March 3, Pulat Bobozhov, who had served as Minister of Internal Affairs since 2017, was dismissed. Aziz Toshpulatov, formerly the head of the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs, was appointed as the new Minister of Internal Affairs. Colonel Ravshan Sultanhojaev, who had led the Khorezm Regional Internal Affairs Department, was appointed head of the Tashkent city Internal Affairs Department.
In turn, Colonel Abdumajid Shermukhammedov, former head of the Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs Activities in Tashkent’s Yunusobod district, was appointed as head of the Khorezm Regional Internal Affairs Department. Colonel Ayubhon Toshkhodjaevich Rahmatullaev, former head of the Andijan Regional Internal Affairs Department, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs by presidential decree.
