Venezuela appoints ambassador to Uzbekistan

On December 9, Rosalba Lo Buye Antico was officially appointed as the Ambassador of Venezuela to Uzbekistan, according to Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.  

Minister Saidov welcomed the new ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he received her credentials.  

“We agreed to build bridges to bring our countries closer together, despite the geographical distance. We exchanged detailed views on the development and implementation of new joint projects, promoting inter-parliamentary cooperation, supporting knowledge exchange, and other issues. Madam Ambassador, welcome to Uzbekistan!” Saidov stated.  

This appointment marks another step in Uzbekistan's diplomatic engagement with the global community. Recently, Ivan Orlic was appointed as the first Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Uzbekistan, further strengthening diplomatic ties with various nations.
