Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov Revealed to be Founder of LLC

The Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, has been revealed as the founder of "Koba Art Complex" LLC, which was established in 2016 with a 100% share.  This information was disclosed by the Anti-Corruption Agency.

According to the Anti Corruption Agency, a thorough investigation into this matter was conducted, confirming that O. Nazarbekov is indeed the founder of "Koba Art Complex" LLC.  The company was officially registered with the state on the 16th of March 2016.

The "Model Rules of Ethics for Civil Servants of the State," approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on the 14th of October 2022, clearly state that civil servants are prohibited from engaging in entrepreneurial or other paid activities outside of their official duties, except for pedagogical, scientific, and creative pursuits.

In adherence to this provision and other relevant legal documents, the aforementioned situation has been rectified, and the founder of "Koba Art Complex" LLC has been changed.

Furthermore, on the 30th of May, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism received a notification ensuring strict compliance with the Law "On State Civil Service" and other legal regulations in the future.  The ministry also pledged to prioritize transparency, competition, impartiality, and the eradication of corruption.  A presentation was made outlining the measures to uphold these principals.
