13019On November 19, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Russia took place at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, where Uzbekistan’s Minister of Culture and People's Artist Ozodbek Nazarbekov performed. The event was organized to highlight Uzbek culture and featured a variety of cultural and musical performances.
The ceremony was attended by numerous high-ranking officials, as well as representatives from the cultural and business sectors of both Russia and Uzbekistan. Diplomats and artists from both countries were also present, marking the importance of the event in promoting cultural exchange between the two nations.
During the concert, Ozodbek Nazarbekov performed several popular songs, including “Majnuntol,” “Xafa bo'laman,” “Atirgulim,” “Andijoncha,” and “Mendirman o’sha,” showcasing his vocal talent and the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
Alongside Nazarbekov, other renowned artists and performers took part in the event, enriching the program with a diverse range of performances. Highlights included:
- The State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, led by People's Artist Kamoliddin Orinboyev, performing “My Motherland Uzbekistan!”
- Contest winners from the "Come to the World - Artist" music TV project, including Behruz Yunusov, Akmalhoja Kholhojayev, Ulugbek Shomurodov, and Elyorbek Meliboyev.
- International competition laureates, Sabina Khamdamova and Akkol Meldebekov, performing “Podmoskovniye evening.”
- The State Dance Ensemble "Bahor," directed by People’s Artist Zulayho Boykhanova, showcasing a variety of dances, including “Yor istab, Mustahzod.”
- People’s Artist Ramiz Usmanov performed “Pesenka Hersoga” from the opera Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi.
- Additional performances included solo acts by international contest laureates such as Khushnud Solijanov, Abdulaziz Mukhtorov, and Yasmin Omar Mun, along with pieces from the State Dance Ensemble “Bahor.” The program also featured songs by People’s Artist Farrukh Zakirov and many other talented performers, all contributing to a memorable celebration of Uzbekistan’s vibrant cultural traditions.
