An 11-year-old girl was raped and killed in Fergana city, in the Fergana region. Hilola Umarova, the Minister of Preschool and School Education, visited the house of the deceased girl to express her condolences to the family members. Layla Rustamova, the press secretary of the ministry, informed KALAMPIR.UZ about this.

Yesterday, on July 28, Minister Hilola Umarova visited the house of the 11-year-old girl who tragically died in Fergana and offered her condolences to the family members.

The minister spoke with the girl's mother to understand the situation and inquired about the well-being of other relatives, expressing deep sorrow over the incident.

Additionally, the minister emphasized the need to increase parental and neighborhood responsibility to prevent such crimes and to be attentive to children.

As a reminder, on July 20 of this year, an 11-year-old girl was raped and killed by an 11th-grade student born in 2006 in Fergana. In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 97 (Deliberate murder), 118 (Indecent assault), and 119 (Satisfaction of sexual desire using force in an unnatural way) of the Criminal Code.
