Kyrgyz President awards Fergana governor for contributions to trade and economy

The governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Khayitboyevich Bozorov, has been awarded the Kyrgyz Order of "Dank" by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadir Japarov, in recognition of his contributions to fostering trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

At the award ceremony, President Japarov highlighted Bozorov's outstanding services in strengthening bilateral trade ties, which have played a crucial role in enhancing the cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

Khayrullo Bozorov, born on January 16, 1976, in the Chortok district of the Namangan region, graduated from the Namangan Industrial-Technological Institute in 1997 with a degree in economics and management. Before serving as the governor of Fergana, Bozorov held the same position in the Namangan region.

It is worth noting that on December 13, 2024, the President of Kyrgyzstan also awarded Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov with the honorary title of "People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic."
