Fergana workshop fire claims life, investigation underway (video)

A tragic fire occurred at a salidor and lithol production workshop in Fergana on December 21. The regional Emergency Situations Department (ESD) responded quickly to the incident.
At 14:13, the ESD received a report about the fire at the workshop, located on Kimyogar Street in the “Mustaqillik” neighborhood of Fergana. Firefighters arrived at the scene just 8 minutes later, at 14:21. Within three minutes, they contained the fire, and by 14:32, it was fully extinguished.
Sadly, one person lost their life as a result of the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
This tragedy follows a similar incident earlier this year when a fire at a gas station in Fergana claimed the lives of four people.
