An investigation has been initiated against "Uzbekneftegaz" JSC by the Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee. The Committee reported this.
According to the Committee, following an examination, it was determined that during two procurement procedures for selecting the best offers totaling nearly 4.8 billion soums, conducted through a specialized information portal, there were signs of violations of Article 29 of the Law on Competition.
In response to these findings, a case has been initiated against "Uzbekneftegaz" JSC for violating the provisions of the Law on Competition and the regulations approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' Decree No. 225.
"The case will be reviewed by established procedures, and additional information will be provided after a decision is made," the report stated.
It is worth noting that a previously sanctioned tea production company was fined for engaging in counterfeiting practices.
