Saidikrom Niyozkhojaev has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan and has arrived in Bishkek, as reported by "Dunyo" news agency.

Before his new post in Kyrgyzstan, Niyozkhojaev served as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan in 2018. In August 2024, he was awarded the "Dostiq" order of the 2nd degree by the President of Kazakhstan for his significant contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.

Saidikrom Niyozkhojaev, aged 59, graduated from Tashkent Polytechnic Institute (now Tashkent State Technical University). He has held several high-level positions, including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in 2015, as well as roles within the Presidential Administration and other government bodies.

Niyozkhojaev succeeds Khurshid Mirzohidov, who served as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Kyrgyzstan from 2020 to 2024.

Earlier this month, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov replaced Niyozkhojaev as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Kazakhstan, presenting his credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 12.
