The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nadir Ganiyev, presented his credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden in Stockholm. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Nadir Ganiyev engaged in a conversation with the King of Sweden, discussing current issues in bilateral cooperation across political, economic, cultural-humanitarian, and other spheres.

At the conclusion of the discussion, the Swedish monarch congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that his work in this responsible position would contribute to further developing Sweden's multifaceted relations with Uzbekistan.

It is worth reminding that last month, Nadir Ganiyev, who previously served as Chargé d'affaires at the new embassy of Uzbekistan, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. At 52 years old, he is a graduate of the Faculty of Philology and Oriental Studies at Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan). Since 1994, he has been working within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holding various positions in the central apparatus and diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad.
