In the early hours of December 21, a passenger bus carrying around 50 people broke down on a highway in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe region, leaving passengers stranded in extreme cold. The incident was reported by "ORDA."

The breakdown occurred on the Samara-Shymkent highway near the Irgiz district. Among the passengers, 46 were Uzbek citizens, while the remaining six were from Tajikistan.

Passengers endured severe frost before being transferred to a warm shelter in the Irgiz district.

The Kazakh Federal Emergency Management Agency stated that none of the passengers required medical assistance.
