News that the visa regime may be abolished for Uzbekistan citizens traveling to South Korea has spread on social networks. The press service under the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations reported that the information was groundless.
“The Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations asks bloggers and internet activists not to distribute such groundless messages and advises them not to use images with the logo of the Ministry”, - the report of the Ministry said.
For reference, citizens of Uzbekistan can travel without a visa to 59 countries of the world. However, the country has not concluded an agreement on a visa-free regime with South Korea. To work in Korea, Uzbekistan nationals need a visa and UBT-EPS-Topic certificate.
