Uzbekistan welcomes three foreign airlines with new flight routes

8357The Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan has permitted three international airlines from Egypt, Malaysia, and South Korea to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan. This was reported on the agency’s official website.
The agency issued a permit to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route on February 3, 2025, to AirAsia X Berhad, under the intergovernmental agreement on air services between Uzbekistan and Malaysia. The flights will be operated on an Airbus A330 aircraft.
Also, on February 3, 2025, T'way Air was granted a permit to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Seoul – Tashkent – Seoul route, under the intergovernmental agreement on air services between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. These flights will also be operated on an Airbus A330 aircraft.
In addition, under the intergovernmental agreement on air services between Uzbekistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, on February 4, 2025, Red Sea Airlines was granted permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Sharm El Sheikh – Tashkent – Sharm El Sheikh route. These flights will be operated on a Boeing 737 aircraft.
