In 2024, a total of 3,509 Uzbek women married Turkish citizens, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
This figure places Uzbek women in second place among foreign brides marrying Turkish men. Syrian women ranked first, while Moroccan women secured third place in the rankings.
Top Five Foreign Nationalities Marrying Turkish Men:
- Syria – 3,519
- Uzbekistan – 3,509
- Morocco – 2,427
- Azerbaijan – 2,195
- Russia – 1,945
Additionally, TÜİK released rankings of foreign grooms marrying Turkish women. In 2024, Turkish women most frequently married Syrian men (1,222). German (1,156) and Afghan (338) men followed in second and third place, respectively.
