The Asian Indoor Athletics Championship, hosted by the city of Astana, Kazakhstan, has ended. Uzbek athletes won 4 medals at the tournament. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

Representatives of Uzbekistan crossed the finish line second in the 4x400 meter relay race. Their time of 3:46:45 was recognized as a new national record. Darya Reznichenko, a participant of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, won a bronze medal in the long jump sector with 6.37 meters.

Thus, the national team of Uzbekistan won 2 gold, 1 silver and bronze medals in this competition.

It should be recalled that Yekaterina Voronina, who previously participated in the pentathlon program, won the gold medal.
