Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will visit Astana on July 3-4 for a practical visit to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the "SCO Plus" meeting at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Qasim-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the President's press service.

It is noted that the agenda of the summit includes urgent issues concerning the further development of multilateral cooperation within the SCO and the improvement of the organization's activities. Important aspects of international and regional cooperation will also be considered.

"At the end of the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Astana Declaration and documents on expanding partnerships in the fields of economy, security, ecology, energy, tourism, and many other areas," the report states.

It is reported that, within the framework of the visit, the leader of Uzbekistan will also hold bilateral meetings with the heads of foreign delegations.
