Junior boxers from Uzbekistan took the 3rd place in the World Championship

From November 24 to December 4 of this year, the World Championship among junior boxers was held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The representatives of Uzbekistan who took part in the competition won the 3rd place overall.


The Uzbek team won a total of 11 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze.


The 1st place in the overall team went to the representatives of Russia. Russian athletes collected 7 gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

The representatives of the host country took the 2nd place, with Armenian boxers being awarded 4 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

Gold Medal:


1. -57 kg Sevara Mamatova;
2. +80 kg Sobirakhan Shakhobiddinova;
3. -60 kg Firuzjon Sadullayev;
4. +80 kg Islam Salikhov.
Silver Medal:
1. -46 kg Maftuna Musurmonova;
2. -75 kg Maftuna Yangiyeva;
3. -63 kg Hikmatillo Olmasov.


Bronze Medal:


1. -46 kg Abdurakhman Makhmudjanov;
2. -66 kg Akbar Ahmadov;
3. -50 kg Khusan Kakhorov;
4. -70 kg Norbek Abdullayev.
