From June 12, Uzbek citizens who traveled to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage will begin returning home. This was reported by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
According to the report, return flights will operate directly from Jeddah to 10 cities across Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Navoi, and Nukus.
Modern aircraft, along with qualified pilots and flight attendants, have been arranged for the safe and comfortable transport of the pilgrims.
It is worth recalling that on May 31, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar. During the call, the president inquired about the living conditions of Uzbek pilgrims in Mecca and their overall well-being. The Mufti assured that all necessary organizational measures had been taken to ensure that the pilgrimage was performed in a proper and meaningful manner.
