It has been reported from which countries the largest amount of money has been transferred to Uzbekistan in the last 6 months

Russia, Kazakhstan, and the United States led the way in remittances to Uzbekistan in the first half of the year.  The Central Bank of Uzbekistan provides information about this.

It is noted that the total amount of funds received in Uzbekistan almost doubled compared to last year and reached 6.5 billion dollars.  81 percent of the total amount was transferred from the Russian Federation ($5.3 billion).

Last year, Russian remittances accounted for 67 percent ($2.2 billion).  Kazakhstan ranks second in terms of remittances to Uzbekistan.  In six months, Kazakhstan sent 327 million dollars, which is 11% more than last year.

In the first half of the year, receipts from the US increased slightly, by 2.6 percent. The total amount sent from overseas was $237 million.

Of all the other countries, $662 million was sent to Uzbekistan, which is 18% more than last year.
