The Andijan regional government reported that humanitarian aid had been sent from the people of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan.

Several trucks departed from the Dostlik border customs post in Khojaobod district to the neighboring republic of Kyrgyzstan.

Officials from both countries met formally, where the governor of the Andijan region, Shuhrat Abdurahmanov, relayed a message from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Kyrgyz representatives.

It is worth noting that a severe flood recently hit the Osh region and Osh city in Kyrgyzstan. On July 3, Uzbekistan provided 95 tons of humanitarian aid to these flood-affected areas.
